“Every day you need a woman to come and massage it”, the shocking testimony of Cauet’s former collaborator

For three months, Sébastien Cauet has been at the heart of a serious morals affair. Accused of sexual assault and rape by different complainants, the host was in the spotlight of a shocking documentary broadcast on BFMTV this Friday February 9, 2024 in prime-time, and in which Maxime Switek collected new unpublished testimonies. Among the latter, those of two complainants, who claim to have also been prey to Sébastien Cauet, when they were his collaborators. If the first claims to have been the witness to massages that his employer allegedly imposed on womenthe other reveals having had to confront photos she didn’t want to receive on his cell phone.

“He interacted with them, he smiled at them, he took them home, he gave them kisses, he asked for massages too, often. He always, almost every day, needed a woman to come and massage him. confides the first accuser, before the second drives the point home by denouncing the obscene photos that Cauet allegedly sent her without her prior consent: “It came out of nowhere, like that. All of a sudden, he gets excited on his own, and he sends a photo” denounces the young woman, arguing that she received a photo of the genitals of the NRJ host without prior consent. And to continue by evoking the equivocal attitude that the latter had towards him: “It’s sexual remarks that happen suddenly. For me, the first time, I remember very well, it’s a shock. I say to myself: Have I done something that would suggest that I’m looking for this?” The young woman, still shocked today, only remembers one thing from the man with whom she worked for a few months: “This guy disgusts me. He hurt me deeply.”

A new complaint filed this Thursday, February 8

That same day, BFMTV revealed that a new complaint was filed by a woman with the public prosecutor’s office, for acts of sexual assault and rape dating back to the 1990s. Facts that would be a priori prescribed, and on which the prosecution will have to decide. The alleged victim, who was an adult at the time of the facts, declared in her report that she wanted to file a complaint to support the action taken by Julie, the first woman to have dared to make public the facts she attributes to Cauet since November 18. It was also this first complaint which led to the opening of a preliminary investigation, first entrusted to the Bourg-en-Bresse public prosecutor’s office, then transferred to the Paris public prosecutor’s office. It is led by the Paris PJ Juvenile Brigade.

To date, a total of six complaints have been filed against Sébastien Cauet, who still remains presumed innocent of the facts which are attributed to him in each of them. The first complaint filed by Julie was followed in mid-December by the filing of four other complaints, themselves now followed by a new complaint, which has just been filed. Guest of BFMTV on December 10, 2023, facing Benjamin Duhamel, the host sidelined from NRJ had contested with the greatest firmness all the facts alleged to him: “I’m in pieces, I’m devastated (…) It’s terrible to be accused of this kind of thing, there’s nothing worse (…) What I am accused of is absolutely terrible (…) I would not wish it on my worst enemy the host complained.
