For its eighth edition, in the midst of veganism month, the Montreal Vegan Festival (FVM) will take place online for free on November 6.
The event’s website and Facebook page will be places of discovery for all those curious about the vegan lifestyle.
It will highlight the benefits of veganism for animals, health and the environment. Press conferences, a panel and cooking demonstrations are on the schedule.
Sébastien Kardinal (culinary author and YouTuber), Chef Alexis, Christian Ventura (Sushi Momo, Casa Kaizen) and Zébulon Vézina (Pâtisserie Zébulon) will be on the culinary side and will make festival-goers discover the secrets of their kitchens.
Singer and content creator Raphaëlle Roy is the spokesperson for this eighth FVM. Having herself adopted a vegan diet for years, and the mother of a little girl who is also vegan, the ambassador will share her experience, in particular in an interview presented on the FVM website.
The conferences and the panel will address all kinds of themes related to veganism, from plant-based agriculture to fashion, including intersectionality in the vegan lifestyle, our relationship with animals or the environment.
