Poutine Week, founded 12 years ago in Montreal, is sweeping the country again this year until February 7.
No less than 800 participating restaurants offer their interpretation of this symbolic dish, with limited editions designed especially for the event.
Members of the public are invited to vote for their favorite version on the website. Among the 25 cities that will host the festival from coast to coast, we find Montreal, Quebec and Gatineau.
Restaurants in other cities have also followed suit, such as Fromagerie Victoria, which this year is presenting its “Freak Show” poutine combining mac & cheese, crumbled bacon and a traditional base.
