This year, it is under the theme “Tribute to agri-food actors” that the event was thought out, which unfolds in three parts. First, the restaurant experience offers some thirty pairings between Quebec gourmet establishments and Quebec producers or processors; for example, The Fox and the Owl with the Migneron Family or Laurie Raphaël with Cassis Monna and Daughters.

For the most homebound, the experience at home offers the possibility of receiving an Aliments du Québec box on the menu, signed by the Château Frontenac catering team (April 22, 23, 28, 29 and 30), choosing from vegan, meat or fish themes.

New, the outdoor experience takes the form of an outdoor site set up at Place Jean-Béliveau for the last weekend of the festival; on site, festival-goers who have booked quickly enough will be able to take advantage of 10 fitted out greenhouses, where menus by guest chefs will be served (most dinners are already full), and an “Apéro Québec-Bordeaux” tent with a terrace for tasting products from guest producers.

At the same time, the Grand Marché de Québec will present its pop-up market where you can meet local merchants and producers, with an exhibition on food innovation in the region to discover.
