For the 5th consecutive season, France Bleu La Rochelle and the Scène de Beauséjour are offering you an evening under the sign of music and song in the company of the “Talents of the West”,
Artists from our region to whom, for an evening, we offer great visibility on the Châtelaillonnaise scene.
This evening, hosted by Médéric BOUILLON, Antenna manager of France Bleu La Rochelle, it is the promise of a joyful, warm, festive and quality moment. So come and applaud and support our Charente artists!
And because Beauséjour and France Bleu have hearts, this concert is organized for the benefit of the children of the popular relief! “No Christmas without toys”! The evening is free but France Bleu La Rochelle asks spectators to come with a new toy, a collection will be organized on the spot… The toys will be redistributed to the children of the popular relief of Charente-Maritime for Christmas!
Every day, France Bleu La Rochelle gives the floor to Charentais artists, and to celebrate the end of the year, we invite you to discover the blues universe of Quentin winter:a guitarist and blues singer living in Tonnay-Charente. It was at the age of 16 that Quentin became interested in the guitar. A few years later, at random listening, Quentin discovers on the family computer, a piece of music by a certain Stevie Ray Vaughan. It is at this moment that blues music enters the depths of his soul and gives new meaning to his life. 10 years later, music having taken more and more place in his life, Quentin quits his job to make a living from music. Today, Quentin offers us a few covers of revisited blues standards in its own way as well as some compositions, sometimes tinged with other styles of music such as traditional French and Celtic music. Quentin now plays solo guitar / vocals in the show “Quentin Winter et le Blues” but also in the electric blues trio “Winter Blues Band”
Gaëtan Henrion is the other artist of the evening. Flow, flow carried by an organic voice and a surprising banter. With his hoarse voice which comes from the depths and which takes our guts, this singer-songwriter has something to say, generous and total. In permanent writing, his texts are impulsive, rebellious and chiseled. The Artist takes a stand. He gives hope, refuses total melodrama, pours out each emotion experienced. His words reflect the wonderful and cruel life of thousands of anonymous people, who hope for the world in forgotten simplicity. Writing at GH is a necessity, by shouting what we whisper, its poems bring us together far from the consensual. Alone on stage – guitar, looper, sample, his realistic songs, are imprinted with alternative rock, acoustic reggae, fado, world music and tangled voices.
