France has a new beauty queen. This Saturday, December 16, 2023, Ève Gilles, 20 years old and wearer of the Nord-pas-de-Calais designer scarf, was elected “Miss France 2024” in front of millions of viewers. Since her coronation, the young woman who wants to join a business school has been the target of Internet users… who do not approve of her boyish haircut, nor her physique deemed “too skinny”.
Fortunately, Miss France 2024 seems to be mentally strong and responds to attacks with class and dignity. This Tuesday, December 19, 2023, it was on the set of the show Touche pas à mon poste that she spoke about her cyberharassment. “I don’t choose my body, I don’t want to have surgery, I eat my fill, I even eat a lot, it’s just that my metabolism is like that” she declared to Cyril Hanouna.
The pretty brunette then made an unexpected statement about her hair desires, she who shines with her boyish cut. “I plan to change! One day, I would like to shave my hair to look like a little kiwi and leave a few centimeters. That’s my favorite at the moment” she said.

Asked about the ceremony, Ève Gilles revealed that she almost found herself with all four irons in the air on several occasions. “Not many people saw it but we saw you slip slightly because of your dress during the fashion show” underlined Cyril Hanouna. To which Miss France 2024 responded: “I was seen once but I almost slipped four times!”.And if Ève Gilles did not fall during the ceremony, we cannot say the same about Miss Guadeloupe who fell during one of her appearances with a long dress with a train. A fall which also generated heated controversy since his comrade Miss Tahiti was accused of not having helped him get up and worse still, of having pushed him away.
