As a reminder, Ève Gilles’ hair is now seen as a symbol of diversity in France. The former Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais had the ambition to “break the codes” with a different cut. “I would like to show that the competition is evolving and so is society, that the representation of women is diverse, in my opinion beauty is not just a haircut”, she said during her presentation speech before specifying that “Every woman is different”. A speech which did not fail to unleash passions.
