This Saturday, December 16, 2023, Ève Gilles, just 20 years old, was elected Miss France in front of millions of viewers. Barely crowned, the one who comes from the Nord-pas-de-Calais region unfortunately has to face a wave of criticism because of her atypical boyish haircut and her physique deemed “too skinny”.
If the young woman was expressed for the first time on the microphone of Anne-Claire Coudray on TF1, she was this Tuesday, December 19, 2023 present on the set of the show Do not touch My TV. The opportunity for her to clarify a point about her health: “I don’t choose my body, I don’t want to have surgery, I eat my fill, I even eat a lot, it’s just that my metabolism is like that”.
Eve Gilles then made a revelation about her next haircut, she who seems to have an ease in changing her appearance and who once had long hair. “I plan to change! One day, I would like to shave my hair to look like a little kiwi and leave a few centimeters. That’s my favorite at the moment” she happily said, promising to do it as soon as she could.
The short haircut of our pretty Miss France is so talked about that even the American media have taken up the subject. This Tuesday, December 19, a spokesperson for Miss Universe was interviewed by PEOPLE magazine and wanted to defend the 20-year-old young woman in the face of the criticism she receives. “There is not just one way to be Miss Universe or Miss France, and we accept all looks that appear on our stage”he recalled first before continuing: “We represent our times, and being confident and unique are the only things that are reflected in all of our winners”.
