At the beginning of the 2000s with the title Before leaving and her long brown hair, Ève Angeli was one of the popular singers who monopolized the first places in the charts. A few years after this first hit, the young woman decided to join the first cast of the Celebrity Farm. A new exhibition that will offer the young woman a completely different image, that of the fake blonde who is a bit simple-minded and who delights with her naive remarks renamed “Evangelicals”. Today she would like us to forget these verbal clumsiness. It is for this reason that the singer decided to change her stage name. “I chose to use Eve above all as a first name and to leave Angeli aside a little to really get back to the basics of what I like to do, which is to say sing. Even if I would never completely disown Angeli because it is also what made me walk in my beginnings, I would like us to forget the “evangelisms“”, she explains to our colleagues from Pure charts.
And if she recognizes that it was her early career that made her a celebrity, she especially remembers that it was financially that her first success “Before leaving” was beneficial. “This song from a financial point of view is like having won the lottery. Thanks to that, I was able to invest in my house and honestly, even if I don’t like to talk about money, without this success, I wouldn’t be safe from being at least on the streets. Afterwards, I still have to earn my living today to eat…“ she confides to Pure charts.
Her new album called “Je sème”, which the singer financed on the Ulule platform, should therefore allow her to write a new page. “Eve in general, Angeli in small, for an album that I self-produce and from which part of the profits will help animals. This is really the origin of everything I like to do: sharing passion, love and defending the animal cause“, says the young woman.
