The Belgians demonstrated to demand an increase in their salaries, Monday, December 6, while German associations and NGOs questioned the government on the plight of migrants.

Metal workers, caregivers, teachers, temporary workers or even unemployed, Belgians demonstrated for more purchasing power, in the streets of Brussels, Monday, December 6. They were more than 5,000 to have answered the call of several trade union organizations, in order to obtain, in particular, an increase in wages. The also, the prices of gas, electricity and basic necessities have jumped.


In Germany, the future government coalition was called upon. Hundreds of life jackets were laid in front of Parliament in Berlin. A symbolic action at the initiative of several groups and NGOs to sensitize the executive on the fate of migrants, who attempt to cross the Channel. More than 300 of them have drowned this year.
