In the heart of the Ukrainian night from Thursday March 3 to Friday March 4, bombings and explosions. Europe’s largest nuclear power plant has just been attacked. Russian tank fire hit the facilities in Zaporizhia, causing a fire. The plant’s spokesperson makes an emergency call. For long minutes, Russian troops prevented Ukrainian firefighters from accessing the site. President Volodymyr Zelensky accuses Vladimir Putin of using nuclear terror.
But on the morning of Friday March 4, the news is reassuring, only administrative buildings were affected. The fire is now extinguished, and above all none of the six reactors of the plant has been affected.
