While Austria has taken drastic measures to stem the epidemic, it is not alone in placing new restrictions on its population. Gael Giordana, journalist in France Televisions, we offers a tour of Europe of new measures anti-covid.

Indeed, five European countries have decided to apply restrictive measures against Covid-19: Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Croatia and Norway. If Austria applies a lockdown for unvaccinated people over 12 years old, its German neighbor has put in place regional measures. Indeed, in Berlin (Germany), proof of vaccination is now mandatory to access sports halls, restaurants and cultural places. Telecommuting is again strongly recommended.

For the Netherlands, shock measurements were taken, as a curfew to 8 p.m. for bars and restaurants and the return from behind closed doors in stadiums. The Dutch government is reportedly considering taking stronger action against the unvaccinated. Croatia imposes the health pass on its public sector employees. The health pass is back in Norway after the country lifted all restrictions last September. A third dose of vaccine for people over 18 is under study.
