As France turns to a new dose for all adults, European neighbors are starting to be overwhelmed by the Covid-19, taking a fifth wave head-on. In Germany, in the region of Bavaria, patients are transported elsewhere thanks to a military plane, while the region sees its hospitals saturated. Almost 76,000 new cases have been recorded across the country. France and Italy are ready to help the Germans.
In Belgium, the Prime Minister announced the closure of nightclubs and discotheques due to the sharp rise in cases of Covid-19 in the country, a few weeks after returning from wearing the mask. “I think this is a harsh message”, explains Prime Minister Alexander of Croo. On the side of Spain, contaminations are also rising sharply, enough to set up a health pass in the city of Barcelona. However, 90% people over 12 are vaccinated.
