Estelle Dossin already warns candidates who criticize the production

Seven women and eight men will perhaps find their partner for life in the coming weeks. Indeed, this Monday March 18, 2024, M6 broadcasts the first episode of the new season of Married at first sight

. The famous Channel 6 show in which two people meet for the first time at the altar, and must decide whether or not to give each other a chance at a possible romance, in front of their family.

It remains to be seen whether all participants will be satisfied with the montage at the end of the broadcast. Because for several editions, many of the show’s candidates have expressed their disappointment, and sometimes their anger, upon discovering that scenes have been cut and that viewers are, in fact, lacking information about the decisions taken.

Guest of Buzz TV from Figaro this Monday March 18, 2024, Estelle Dossin wanted to revisit the subject. Aware that many ex-participants of the program have complained about the editing, the expert of Married at first sight

Estelle Dossin aware that candidates can be “disappointed”

“This notion of editing is always complicated. […] There are hours and hours of filming. The show when it airs on Monday evening, it must last 2 hours. Needless to say, the majority of what is filmed cannot be edited.”she first wanted to recall.

Afterwards, Estelle Dossin indicates that “production chooses, with [leur] agreement, to highlight the questions which will be the most representative of their historyso that it is very interesting and also very concerning”. On the other hand, she assures that she understands “quite the frustration that the participants can have, having experienced scenes, precious, beautiful moments, and that it is not shown”. “It’s a shame, but sometimes you have to get to the point”continues the one who will once again be accompanied by Gilbert Bou Jaoudé.

The expert is also well placed to know this. She has also been disappointed with the editing since she has been on the program. “There are hypertender moments that I can experience with the bride and groom or even their family. And then I don’t see it”she revealed to our colleagues before ensuring that “it’s not serious”. “At first, I said to myself: ‘Oh that’s a shame.’ But it doesn’t matter.”she concluded, not resentful towards the production.
