Escape from legal custody | A man on the run wanted by the SPVM

The Montreal City Police Service (SPVM) is asking for the public’s help to locate a man who escaped from legal custody at Notre-Dame Hospital in Montreal.


Joseph Gordon Baptiste, who is escaping from legal custody at Notre-Dame Hospital, was to go to the Montreal courthouse Thursday morning.

Joseph Gordon Baptiste is a white-skinned man aged 42. He is approximately 1.83 m tall and weighs 70 kg, with brown hair and brown eyes.

According to authorities, he escaped on foot from Notre-Dame hospital. “The investigators have reason to fear for his safety,” indicates the police force.
