Eric Zemmour, presidential candidate, called on Saturday the voters of Eric Ciotti, beaten in the second round of the Republican Congress, to come to his first meeting, Sunday in Villepinte (Seine-Saint-Denis).

“We can do unforgettable things together. We are going to do them.” It is with these words that Eric Zemmour, presidential candidate, launched on Saturday, December 4 an appeal to the voters of Eric Ciotti. The member for the Alpes-Maritimes indeed lost his duel against Valérie Pécresse in the second round of the Les Républicains party congress, for a nomination in the presidential election of 2022.
In a letter addressed to the voters of Eric Ciotti, who obtained nearly 40% of the votes in the second round, Eric Zemmour therefore urges them to come and join him on Sunday, during his first campaign meeting, in Villepinte (Seine-Saint -Denis). “You can count on me and I know it is mutual. I expect you tomorrow. See you soon”, writes Eric Zemmour. “Be certain of my desire to see us soon assault fate.”
Eric Zemmour also paints a flattering portrait of the unsuccessful candidate of the Les Républicains party. “By carrying Eric Ciotti at the head of the first round of your congress, you had chosen a good man, upright, reliable and sincere. An indisputable patriot, faithful to the convictions which we share.” The candidate also affirms “maintain a real friendship with him”.

He took the opportunity to bring his ideas closer to those of the voters of Eric Ciotti. “Your identity is Gaullist. Your values are national pride and the safeguard of the essential pillars of our civilization.” He recalls what makes the base of his campaign: “The greatness of our culture, the depth of the Christian legacy, the power of our army, of our peasantry.” He concludes : “I believe we will be united soon and I guess you believe it too.”
