Eric Piolle and 14 other elected officials from Isère are calling for single candidates on the left

After reproaches on the division of the left in the presidential election, elected officials from Isère probably do not want to reproduce the same thing for the next legislative elections. Eric Piolle, the environmental mayor of Grenoble, and 14 other elected officials and former elected officials from Isère launch this Tuesday, April 19, on the website of the Alpine Workera call in this direction.

Unite not to lose

It is the movement “For a Popular and Social Ecology (PEPS)” which is at the initiative of this appeal. In the latter, the signatories indicate that “now is the time for a rally around a block of popular ecology.“They recognize different agendas but particularly want to fight against the far right. The block especially does not want “experience another calamitous defeat.”
