Eric Lartigau has been inconsolable for almost a month. The 57-year-old director has lost his little sister, Nadine Lartigau, who also worked in cinema. The costume designer died suddenly at the age of 54 on October 6, during the filming of This summer, on which she collaborated with her brother. On his Instagram account, Eric Lartigau wished to pay tribute to his sister, through several publications.
Upset by this loss, the ex-companion of Marina Foïs shared the few words written by the director and screenwriter Delphine Gleize (who also worked on the film This summer) published in South West. “I have never buried a friend who left so early, without warning, without an accident, without an enemy, left just like that, on an October day, a happy shooting day”, notes Delphine Gleize.
“Nadine made each gesture precious, each fictional idea, each brilliantly correct intuition. With the artists with whom she knew how to surround herself, with the people she loved, sometimes remained silent in front of so much grace. I said to myself that to go to Hossegor, forever, would go to her house “, continues the filmmaker, who salutes the memory of her friend who lived in New Aquitaine, in a very poetic way.
