After five years of absence, author Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt will return to the stages of Quebec with his new play, Madame Pylinska and Chopin’s secretwhose text he signs and interprets.
Inspired by the book of the same title, the theatrical work takes the form of an autobiographical monologue featuring several fragmented characters, including a young Éric-Emmanuel.
The prolific author will be accompanied on stage by pianist Nicolas Stavy. Several show dates have been announced for fall 2024, including Saint-Jérôme, Terrebonne, Laval, Longueuil, Gatineau, Saint-Eustache, Sainte-Geneviève and Saint-Hyacinthe. Two performances are also planned in Montreal and Quebec City next June.
