The Minister of Justice, Eric Dupond-Moretti, announced on Monday, September 12, that the salaries of judicial judges would be increased by an average of 1,000 euros gross per month. According to him, it is a revaluation “unpublished” aimed at aligning their remuneration with that of administrative magistrates.

“I want the magistrates of the judicial order to be paid like the magistrates of the administrative order”explained the Keeper of the Seals on BFMTV, who must detail this measure during the new round of discussions of the Estates General of Justice which opens on Monday.

The result of several months of consultation, the report drawn up by these Estates General on the “advanced decay” justice must be the subject of new consultations from September 12 before the presentation, scheduled for October, of a government action plan.
