The battle for positions continues in the National Assembly. Among the most coveted, that of the presidency of the Finance Committee, which was won, Thursday, June 30, by Éric Coquerel, of La France insoumise.
Éric Coquerel, of La France insoumise, is the new chairman of the Finance Committee of the National Assembly. “It took three rounds and a bit of suspense for the rebellious candidate Éric Coquerel to end up gaining the presidency of the very strategic Finance Committee, a position (…) of power [qui] allows for example to have access to all the tax declarations of our country”explains journalist Thierry Curtet, live from the National Assembly, Thursday, June 30.
