“Eric Ciotti is president of LR”his lawyer Philippe Torre told franceinfo on Friday June 14, after the decision of the Paris judicial court to suspend the exclusion of Eric Ciotti by the LR political office.
“The LR who ejected Eric Ciotti from his office violated the law. This is what the Paris judicial court ruled”says Philippe Torre. “They grossly raped him.”
The Republican president’s lawyer insists: “Mr. Wauquiez, Mr. Bertrand must,” members of the LR political bureau, “understand that. It’s unbearable, the spectacle they gave to the French by doing this. It’s completely harmful.”
For the party nominations for the legislative elections, “the political consequences can be quite considerable”believes Philippe Torre. “It is clear that the national union that Eric Ciotti organized with Marine Le Pen and with Marion Maréchal can only come out even better.”
The decision of the Paris court this Friday is a “interim decision”, specifies Eric Ciotti’s lawyer. On the basis of the conflict between the president and the political bureau of LR, the decision will be taken “in a year, in two years”, according to Philippe Torre. She “will settle all disputes between the parties”.
