At 46, Éric Antoine wears many hats: magician, TV host and also comedian! It is both the comedian and the magician who is currently on tour with his magic and comedy show entitled Grow a little!
The host of the Largest Karaoke in France on M6 was this Saturday, October 1, 2022 the guest of Telematin for the promotion of his show. Questioned by Damien Thévenot, Éric Antoine spoke about his motivations for writing this show. “The idea is to always remember the dreams we had when we were children and to be faithful to them. I find that a happy adult is an adult who continues to discuss with the inner child”he pointed out.
Without knowing it, I was already dreaming of this job
Speaking of youth, Éric Antoine had the good surprise during the show to see a photo of him at the age of 13. The magician appears unrecognizable with long hair, a woolen sweater and a rather slender appearance. “Hoop!”, he reacted. Already passionate about magic, the young man participated in the biggest magic show in the world which was held at the museum of magic in the Marais in Paris. “We were about ten magicians. We had to do little magic tricks and every ten minutes we changed magicians”, he recalled. At that time, the one who was not yet the character we know, seemed to have found his way: “Without knowing it, I was already dreaming of this job because, as a teenager, I never told myself that I was going to do this job as a magician, comedian, animator, actor… never! I was passionate about cinema, theater, literature… And magic was one of my passions and one of my hobbies.” The least we can say is that today Eric Antoine can boast of having several strings to his bow!
