Since July 27, the show has been on the agenda in the Var, on the occasion of the Ramatuelle Festival, devoted to culture. This 38th edition is dedicated to actor Michel Bouquet, who died in April.who loved Ramatuelle so much, an unforgettable and irreplaceable master“ can we read on the official website of the event.
To pay tribute to him, Jacqueline Franjou, president of the festival, decided, with the help of its artistic director Michel Boujenah, to put the small dishes in the big ones. On the program: shows as well as exceptional guests, until August 12th. Big names like Patrick Bruel and François Xavier-Demaison have already ignited the Théâtre de Verdure (main venue of the event) thanks to their respective talents as singers and actors. This Monday, August 8, it was the turn of the illusionist, humorist and actor Éric Antoine, to entertain the Var public.
A conquered audience
Objective brilliantly achieved by the host of Who can beat us, which, under the eyes of Michel Boujenah and comedian Guillaume Bats, offered a rather varied show, between humor, madness and conviviality. This multi-faceted artist has performed his greatest tricks of illusions, always his quirky style, and paid tribute to comedian Raymond Devos. His performance obviously earned the applause of the public, visibly very enchanted by this masterful show from the 45-year-old artist.
The latter has, once again, embodied good humor and joy through this show. But his life is also marked by more difficult times, like everyone else. If he very rarely evokes this aspect of his life, he decided, on August 5, to evoke painful memories linked to death during an interview granted to TV Mag. “J‘ve been through some tough times. I found the corpse of my best friend, saw that of my father and accompanied my mother in death” he revealed.
Be that as it may, despite darker periods, Éric Antoine has, in all likelihood, not lost his joie de vivre when he goes on stage… Something to delight his fans!
