ER nurse earns $2 million selling lecture notes

An American nurse has become a millionaire by selling her own lecture notes on the web.

Stephanee Beggs, 28, started selling her lecture notes after graduating from nursing school in California, and quickly rose to unwitting internet fame.

“I was studying for the exams, what they call NCLEX in nursing school. It was just when the pandemic hit, so I had no one to study with,” she explained, according to the “New York Post.”

The young woman started by recording herself reciting her lessons and then posted them on the networks, which people loved. Beggs therefore regularly shares his knowledge with his 650,000 followers on TikTok since 2020.

His followers then asked him to sell his written notes. “I started a shop that eventually went viral,” she reported, adding that she was selling study sheets.

The young woman sells her lessons from $2 for a single file, and up to $30 or even $40 for all the files on the same subject. For $115, students can purchase a note pack on Etsy. Thus, she claims to have earned $2 million this way.

Beggs also sells merchandise, such as folders, notepads or stickers.

The nurse said she made her RNExplained brand a full-time job, while continuing to teach pharmacology and her job as an emergency nurse.

Stephanee Beggs now has a YouTube channel to continue teaching on the internet.

“In the end, it makes me feel good to be able to impact people’s nursing and health journeys, just as they impacted mine,” she wrote.
