Environmentalists will launch a petition to demand a climate wealth tax, franceinfo learned from a parliamentary source, Wednesday, June 7. It will be formalized during questions to the government in the Senate.

This petition follows a forum in the Sunday newspaperJune 4, signed by “nearly 200 elected ecologists” in which they defend this climate ISF. “There is an urgent need to think about a 21st century tax system that fully integrates the acceleration of climate change”wrote these elected environmentalists.
