French environmental activists went to Brussels (Belgium) and set up in the trees in front of the European Parliament. They are protesting against the A69 motorway project, between Toulouse (Haute-Garonne) and Castres (Tarn). “We are asking that Europe take a position and, obviously, help us to ensure that human rights are respected”, explains Jibon, one of them. They also denounce the methods of the French authorities, who refuse to supply their companions. The latter campaign for their part in the peaks of the Tarn.
