At the entrance to the port of Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône), a dozen climate activists in inflatable kayaks managed to block three cruise ships on Saturday, September 21. They wanted to denounce the impacts that they consider harmful.Air pollution, therefore the health of the inhabitants here in Marseille, but also on marine biodiversity with discharges (…) and on the climate“, explains Julie, from the “Stop Croisières” collective. The operation lasted two hours.
In Normandy, law enforcement found five bales of cocaine, weighing several dozen kilos, on the beaches of the Channel and Calvados. In addition, motorcyclists have expressed their discontent on the roads of France. They are opposed to the mandatory technical inspection for two-wheelers, in force since April 15. According to the demonstrators, the first reports prove that this formality is useless.
