Presentation of the 2030 national biodiversity strategy
Sarah El Haïry calls for the establishment of rules on the European market to “shake up countries that do not wish, voluntarily, to pursue this trajectory of the Paris agreements“. The Secretary of State for Biodiversity hopes that clear commitments will be made on phasing out coal and tripling the production of renewable energies. Among the measures presented during the 2030 national biodiversity strategy, Sarah El Haïry underlines those on the 50,000 km of hedges, a billion trees as well as the reduction of light pollution.
