Environment: QS shoots another arrow at CAQ

Passing through Rimouski on Sunday, the spokesperson for Québec solidaire, Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois, went there with a new arrow against the Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ), describing certain promises of the outgoing government as a “plan to accelerate changes climatic”.

Although the CAQ has presented a plan for a green economy, it intends to invest $7.4 billion in a third link project in Quebec and in buses. Mr. Nadeau-Dubois therefore believes that his opponent “destroys with one hand what he builds with the other”.

“So the least we can say is that François Legault is sincere when he says ‘Let’s continue.’ Let’s continue with climate change. Let’s continue to do as before. Let’s keep going into the wall, ”lamented the QS spokesperson.

Denouncing the insufficient environmental commitments of the CAQ, QS believes that the party continues to invest in projects that contribute to the increase in greenhouse gas emissions in the province.
