ENTRAIGUES / La Courinture, a Mecca for ancient music.

Philippe Garcia takes us to Entraigues sur la Sorgue. Particularly at a musical evening in an old abandoned factory. Its name: The belt; A place already well known to lovers of ancient music. This part of an old factory supplied with water by the Sorgue was discovered by Alice Pierrot who was playing the violin that evening with the Amarillis ensemble. At the entrance, herself very involved in the project, Chantal De Corbiac.

300 people attended for this wonderful evening dedicated to baroque music. The next day, the Amarillis ensemble recorded their new album here, at the Belt, for four days.

Upcoming concerts at La Courinture d’Entraigues sur la Sorgue: November 17th and 18th with the Doric string quartet. On the program: works by Beethoven and Bartok. Entrance 11 €
