Energy aid: for Fabien Roussel, “the government is in a panic, and is running after small solutions”

He first returns to the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which will take place in Qatar: “I feel very close to these athletes like Éric Cantona, who are calling for his boycott and, if I were a footballer and a member of the France team, I would wonder about my presence there, in view of all this that there are as human, social, ecological dramas on the holding of this World Cup.“

Fabien Roussel then discusses government aid for energy prices, as well as the discount on prices at the fuel pump, which goes, Thursday, September 1, from 18 to 30 cents per litre: “The government is in a panic, and is running after small solutions. (…) This tariff shield, it has a cost for the finances of the State. It is not compensated by any other form of recipe”says the national secretary of the Communist Party. “We need to get energy out of the speculative market”adds Fabien Roussel.
