A critically endangered pinched white-crested tamarin, born on April 12 in a zoo in Cali, Colombia, is on public display.

“It is very important because it is a critically endangered species. In addition to being in critical danger of extinction, it is an endemic species to Colombia that can only be found in the northwest of our country, and nowhere else in the world”, explains Carlos Andres Galvis , Head of Populations of the Zoological Foundation of Cali-Colombia.
“I find it very beautiful, very sweet, the way the mother gives love by having the child with her all the time as if she were giving him her warmth”, adds Nicole Montes, visitor to the zoo of Cali.
