Seventeen people were mobilized on Thursday by the courts for an attempt to reconstruct the afternoon during which little Émile disappeared last summer in Haut-Vernet.

The scenario, a sort of reconstruction of the afternoon during which little Émile disappeared in Haut-Vernet (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence), ended at 7 p.m. Thursday March 28, noted the journalist from franceinfo on site. A total of 17 people were summoned by the courts to reconstruct the moment when the two and a half year old boy was last seen. The idea was to place these people in the same space-time to check the consistency of the different witnesses, particularly those from little Emile’s family.
To ensure that this new act of investigation takes place peacefully, access to this hamlet in Alpes-de-Haute-Provence has been blocked since Wednesday morning and will remain so until Friday morning.
