This is the end of several months of investigation. The investigating magistrates of the Court of Justice of the Republic (CJR) closed, Friday, April 15, their investigations targeting the Keeper of the Seals, Eric Dupond-Moretti. The latter has been indicted for illegal taking of interest since July 2021. A first for a Minister of Justice.
The public prosecutor now has three months to submit its submissions, while defense lawyers have an additional month to make observations.
