After a week of strike, the emergency room at Meulan – Les Mureaux hospital in Yvelines is operating normally again. The strikers, who denounced the lack of staff, won their case, Franceinfo learned on Monday January 15 from the CGT.

A night nurse and a nursing assistant will reinforce the emergency department. Management will also pay for meal times and transmissions after 12 hours of service. The strike started on Monday January 8. Emergency rooms had to be closed over the weekend due to the movement. To avoid being assigned to their posts, around ten nurses and caregivers had taken sick leave.
