Quebec will no longer require compulsory isolation for children or educators who have been in contact with a person positive for COVID-19 at the daycare, according to what two associations have indicated to the Duty.
“The directive to no longer isolate the children if there is a positive case at the daycare is withdrawn, we are going back as before. We must isolate the children for ten days ”, mentions to Devoir Samir Alahmad, president of the Association of private day care centers of Quebec (AGPQ). The isolation time for educators can be reduced to five days, if their health permits.

The two associations attended an afternoon meeting with representatives of Public Health and the Ministry of the Family, during which this information was given to them.
