Cécile Bois continues the projects on the screen! But it is mainly via the “Candice Renoir” saga on France 2 that her admirers like to find her. However, at the end of 2021, aficionados were flabbergasted when they learned of the possible end of the soap opera. Concerned about the feedback from viewers, the production had then assured that the heroine would not leave the small screen anytime soon. Indeed, TV movies have been opted by the latter.

After a first episode shot in Corsica, the director of programs and fiction for France Télévisions confirmed – last year – to our colleagues from “Parisien” the writing of an 11ᵉ season. But the latter, made up of six 52-minute episodes, as “Télé Star” points out, was subsequently put in stand-by. But according to Cécile Bois on the set of “BuzzTV” for “TV Magazine” this Thursday, April 13, 2023, this project has not been completely put aside.

However, the star has not been sorry to slow down in recent months: “Because I had been on the road 7 months out of 10. 6,000 km per week to be able to go to work. It’s physically tiring work. And then the channel wanted to put on new series. It’s something I can easily hear […]. Here, I still continue the character of Candice to which I am attached. I think the channel is as much as the viewers.”

Without filter, the actress also spoke about the future of her character: “We’re just going down another lighter path for me and then the channel will be a lot freer to be able to schedule it whenever they want. The show isn’t stopped. […] For a moment, they developed season 11 of Candice when we thought we were stopping at 10”. As she revealed, Cécile Bois set her conditions: “I said okay ‘I want it read first, because I don’t want to be opportunistic in this story.

And to add: “If season 11 exists, there must be a real upheaval, a real change […] And that’s the case. But all of that made it take a bit of time to adjust. Candice will be back. We’re going to shoot an episode by the end of the year.”. In short, good news for his fans!
