“I’m going to say it 50,000 times, decalisseyou’re at home, man! SentNOT****, decalisse», Launches a Super C manager, angry with the man who is filming the scene of around 20 seconds.
According to our information, the employee in this sequence is Christian Paris. The event took place in the Super C located on Boulevard Cousineau in the borough of Saint-Hubert.
“We opened an investigation and our teams were on the case all day. Obviously, these comments do not reflect the values of our company,” confirms Newspaper Geneviève Grégoire, head of communications at Metro.
Employee suspended?
It is unknown at this time whether the employee in the video has been suspended since this information remains confidential, according to the grocery chain.
“We have few details at the moment, but know that we will take the appropriate measures,” assures Mme Gregory.
The latter adds that the investigation also aims to understand what led their employee to use the “n-word”. The origin of the conflict therefore remains unknown for the moment, as does the identity of the person who recorded the scene.
At the end of the 20-second video, however, we hear Christian Paris telling him that he cannot go to his “back store”.
Goes viral
Note that the sequence quickly went viral on TikTok after being published by a user named “Keke Calixte”. As of Friday afternoon, it had nearly 260,000 views.
Our request for an interview with “Keke Calixte” remained unanswered at the time of publishing this text.
