A vehicle caught fire on Highway 15 North in Boisbriand on Friday evening, which caused a slowdown in traffic.
“It was a moving vehicle fire that caused the traffic lanes to be closed until the firefighters arrived around 6:20 p.m. The exact cause is unknown,” said Sûreté Sergeant Stéphane Tremblay. of Quebec (SQ).
“The vehicle is a small camper,” he added. There was a risk, because of the propane. This explains the closure of traffic until the arrival of firefighters. The fire was quickly brought under control and two out of three lanes have been reopened.
The incident caused no injuries.
