This Monday, around 8 a.m., a T2 line bus traveling in the dedicated lane collided with a car just before the Matras crossroads, in rue Louis-de-Foix, in Bayonne towards downtown. A ten passengers trambus, children, were slightly injured. A large emergency response has been deployed.

The circumstances of this accident are unknown at this time. The trambus was coming from Tarnos. The dedicated lane for buses at this location has just been put into service. It runs alongside the traffic lane of other vehicles. The incident, which happened at rush hour, caused major traffic jams.
