At the passage of Log in front of the Trump Tower, Tuesday morning, 5th avenue in New York, the TV cameras were fighting over the few places available in fenced spaces.
This unusual configuration made it difficult for New Yorkers who were struggling to get to work to get through.
However, very few people who still support Donald Trump have decided to go there.
Alone in front of a crowd of journalists, a man, inline skates on his feet, put on a show.
He was thus spinning the basketballs on his American flag, to the delight of the cameras, but under close police surveillance.
Colton Keeng, from Orlando, Florida, watched the show from afar.

“Only Donald Trump is charged even though other presidents have done much worse. […] This sets a dangerous precedent,” he said.
The young man, who will be able to vote for the first time in the next presidential elections, says he is neutral and does not intend to go to the polls.
Journey under close surveillance
At the end of the morning, the former Republican president will be escorted to complete the six-kilometre journey between his residence and a Manhattan courthouse.
Donald Trump is summoned at 2:15 p.m. to be formally charged with the charges brought against him by New York justice after five years of investigation related to funds paid to a porn star, Stormy Daniels.
The billionaire will have to arrive earlier at the court placed under high surveillance for some formalities.
Symbolically placed under arrest, he will have to state his name, age, profession, submit to fingerprinting and have his photo taken.
Donald Trump will thus become the first American president in history to be criminally charged on Tuesday.
