The acting national director of public health for Quebec, Dr.r Luc Boileau, holds a press briefing at 3 p.m. on the situation of COVID-19 in the province.

Neither the Minister of Health nor the Prime Minister will be present. The Dr Boileau will be accompanied by Michèle de Guise, interim CEO of the National Institute of Excellence in Health and Social Services (INESSS) and Marie-France Raynault, senior strategic medical adviser of the General Directorate of Public Health of the Ministry of Health and Social Services.
The new acting national director of public health in Quebec had already declared his intention to hold press briefings independent of those of the Legault government.
