A graduate in primary education, Emy Gernaey, better known by the pseudonym of Emy Lalune on social networks, has been a sensation on TikTok with young people for at least two years. His account is also followed by more than 1.4 million subscribers.
The young woman became known in the midst of a pandemic, in particular by staging herself through various sketches in the classes where she carried out replacements, once the students left.
“When I was younger, I dreamed of being an actress, or comedian, I wanted to do TV. With social networks, I realized that I could do it on my own by creating a platform for myself,” she says.
Today, she focuses her content, among other things, on fashion in thrift stores, the transformation of second-hand clothes and humorous sketches. In addition to writing her second youth novel, to be published in September, she is carrying out several paid partnerships under the sign of “learning”, or which convey a message.
