This phenomenon affects “about 200,000 people” and “all job and employee profiles, even if large companies and the administration are particularly affected, as well as women and seniors at the end of their careers”explains the journalist. It costs approx. “10 billion euros at least per year”because in addition to wages, there is also the cost work stoppages. “Stops doubled in a few years because the closet can be hard to live with psychologically. It is the second cause of sick leave. The labor code also equates the closet to moral harassment”concludes Anne-Claire Le Sann.
