After two years of health crisis, some health professionals, exhausted, leave their job and let themselves be tempted by other professions. The real estate industry is hiring. Sales are progressing and agents are being recruited massively.

Last year, real estate sales reached a record level of 1.2 million transactions. The real estate sector needs arms, could this be the Eldorado for those who dream of retraining? Alexia and Antoine made this risky bet to start a new career. On the morning of Monday January 24, Antoine is looking for houses for sale in a neighborhood in the Paris region. The key to success is to have patience and a bit of luck.

To be a real estate agent, there is no diploma to pass. Inexperienced profiles, that’s what Cirice Esclapez, the director of an Orpi agency and Antoine’s boss, is looking for. The real estate agent was hired on a permanent contract. His fixed salary is close to the minimum wage, to which are added commissions for each sale which can very significantly increase his income. It’s a prospect that attracts recruits from all walks of life.
