Sunday October 23, 2022, the 59-year-old French actress took to her Instagram account to post a photo of her with her youngest son. It is in her story that Emmanuelle Béart revealed this selfie, she who does not often appear with her children. On the image, we discover comfortably installed in a plane. The actress clarifies that she and her son are traveling with Ethiopian Airlines, which strongly suggests that the duo are on their way to Ethiopia (see the slideshow). A destination that owes nothing to chance since this African country occupies a very important place in the family history of Emmanuelle Béart.
In 2010, when she was married to Michaël Cohen, the great actress decided to adopt a little boy in Ethiopia, Surafel, when he was 8 months old Emmanuelle Béart always knew that she would adopt her third child. “I always told myself that I would have two children and that I would adopt a third!“, she had declared years before to the magazine SHE. A wish that she therefore granted, for her greatest happiness, that of Surafel, but also for that of Michaël Cohen, from whom she ended up divorcing.
Mother of two other children – Nelly, whom she had in 1992 with Daniel Auteuil, and Yohann, born in 1996 from her relationship with David Moreau – Emmanuelle Béart remained close to her ex-husband. She finds him in particular to celebrate major events concerning Surafel, such as his birthday.
