The Head of State will not speak on July 14. However, his speech should take place before the end of the month.
The President of the Republic will not speak on Friday July 14. This is what he confirmed on Wednesday July 12 on the sidelines of the NATO summit, where he was, in Vilnius (Lithuania). He had only done it twice since 2017, in 2020 and in 2022. He is not a fan of this exercise either, which was first instituted by Valéry Giscard d’Estaing in 1978.
The riots changed everything
