More than a hundred countries and organizations have committed to participating in this summit, according to Volodymyr Zelensky. The Ukrainian president urged countries in the Asia-Pacific region to join.
Some heads of state, including Joe Biden, have already made it known that they will not make the trip. The United States will nevertheless be represented by its vice-president, Kamala Harris, the White House said on Monday.
