Highly anticipated speech. Emmanuel Macron will address the French on Wednesday March 20 during a television interview. He will answer Wednesday at 1 p.m. from the Elysée Palace to questions from journalists Julian Bugier and Marie-Sophie Lacarrau in a live interview on TF1 and France 2. This intervention is eagerly awaited after the adoption of his pension reform in Parliament which no did not sign the end of the dispute and the demonstrations sometimes punctuated by strong tensions against this project.

Previously, the Head of State will consult in all directions throughout the day on Tuesday. He will again chain meetings, to reunite his camp and try to bounce back. In the morning, he received Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne, “determined to continue to bring the necessary transformations to our country”. She will be accompanied of several ministers, including Gérald Darmanin and Sébastien Lecornu, and the leaders of the majority. Emmanuel Macron must then have lunch with Yaël Braun-Pivet and Gérard Larcher, presidents of the Assembly and the Senate, before an evening meeting with the parliamentarians of the presidential camp. In the meantime, he will have taken the direction of Villacoublay airport (Yvelines) to welcome the former French hostage Olivier Dubois who was released on Monday.
